Job Description:

ABC Institute of Technology is seeking a highly skilled and passionate Training and Placement Officer to join our team. This position requires an individual who is dedicated to bridging the gap between academia and industry. The Training and Placement Officer will play a key role in organizing placement drives, internships, and training programs to ensure students are well-equipped for the workforce.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute training programs for students to enhance their employability skills (e.g., soft skills, technical skills, and communication).
  • Organize campus recruitment drives by collaborating with top-tier companies and industry professionals.
  • Build and maintain relationships with corporate partners and placement agencies to secure internship and job opportunities for students.
  • Conduct career counseling sessions and help students with career path planning.
  • Coordinate pre-placement talks, interviews, and selection procedures for companies visiting the campus.
  • Track the placement status of students and provide regular updates to faculty and management.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree (preferably in Management, HR, or related field).
  • At least 1 year of experience in training, recruitment, or placement coordination.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with the placement process and corporate recruitment standards.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and placement management software is an advantage.
